Field trip

On October 30th, we went on a field trip to Wagamon, a place known for its natural beauty and peaceful atmosphere. The trip was refreshing and gave us a break from our regular academic routine, helping us bond with our classmates and teachers. It was a memorable experience filled with fun, laughter, and scenic views.  

Craft work exhibition

In our class, we conducted a Craft Work Exhibition as part of our B.Ed Department activities. Each student showcased their creativity by preparing different types of craft work according to their individual talents and interests. I prepared six paper crafts and 1 bottle art, which included various decorative and functional items. It was a wonderful opportunity to explore our creativity and learn from each other’s work. Seeing the variety of crafts made by our classmates was truly inspiring.  

Activity -3 subject association

 International marketing day- October 28 As part of the B. Ed curriculum , we celebrated International Marketing Day on October 28 , 2024. It serves as a platform to acknowledge the impact of marketing on the global economy as well as influence on consumer behavior.

Subject association inauguration and 1st activities

It was a very wonderful and memorable day. We invited our Chief Guest, Dr. Biju Terrance, from the Department of Commerce, Kerala University . His presence was very inspiring and added great value to the occasion. He delivered an insightful speech that highlighted the importance of subject associations in enhancing academic engagement and professional growth among students. The event began with a formal welcome address, followed by the lighting of the ceremonial lamp. Our principal and faculty members expressed their support and encouragement for the activities of the Commerce Association. The inauguration was followed by cultural performances and a few interactive sessions.  

Conscientization programme

we conducted a Conscientization Program in our classroom on the topic of Unemployment under the guidance of Naja miss. The aim of the program was to create awareness among students about the growing issue of unemployment and its impact on individuals and society. The session provided us with a deeper understanding of the causes, types, and consequences of unemployment. It was also helpful in connecting theoretical knowledge with real-life experiences and current statistics. Through presentations, discussions, and interactive activities, we were able to analyze the issue from multiple perspectives.  

Poverty eradication day

On October 17th, we celebrated Poverty Eradication Day with a sense of compassion and social responsibility. As part of the observance, we collected homely food from students and teachers in our college. Later, we distributed the food to patients and bystanders at the District Hospital, Kollam. This small act of kindness brought smiles to many faces and made us realize the value of sharing and caring. It was a heart-touching and memorable day, inspiring us to contribute more towards helping those in need.  

Gandhijayanthi

On October 2nd, we observed Gandhi Jayanti by organizing a cleanliness drive in our college and its surroundings. Inspired by Mahatma Gandhi’s principles of cleanliness and service, we actively participated in cleaning the campus and nearby areas. It was a very memorable and meaningful day, reminding us of the importance of keeping our environment clean and living responsibly. The experience not only honored Gandhiji’s values but also encouraged us to contribute positively to society.
